(Spencer)– A new carnival is coming to the Clay County Fair this year.
Fair officials announced Wednesday GoldStar Amusements will be on the midway for this year’s fair September 10th-18th.
GoldStar Amusements is a family-operated carnival owned and operated by Mike Featherston, upcoming Chairman of the Outdoor Amusement Business Association.
The carnival will feature several attractions new to the Clay County Fair, including the “SuperShot”, a drop tower that descends riders from a height of 7 1/2 stories; “The Muzik Express”, “Pharoah’s Fury”, “The Dizzy Dragon” and “The Rockin’ Tug”.
“The Crazy Mouse” will be featured as well again this year.
The annual “Fantastic Friday Preview” will be held September 9th.
