(Estherville)– Plans are in the works for a city managed and maintained campground along the West Fork of the Des Moines River in Estherville. Clayton says the campground project is among several other concepts being proposed to enhance an area along the river at 1st Street in Estherville. She adds any construction on the campground part of the project likely wouldn’t get underway until next spring should the funding be awarded and the project proceeds.
