(Milford)– A two-vehicle collision this (Friday) afternoon at the intersection of Highway 71 and 22nd Street on the north edge of Milford sent three people to the hospital. Police say Kay Buchanan of Milford was driving a 2008 Toyota Avalon and Lucas Campion of Spencer was driving a 2003 Honda Civic. They say Buchanan was attempting to make a left turn when the two collided.
Both drivers and a passenger in one of the vehicles, Micheal Schroeder, sustained minor injuries and were taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare.
Milford police were assisted by the Arnolds Park Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, the Milford Fire Department and Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics.
The collision took place shortly after 2:30 pm.
