Multiple Injuries Reported In I-90 Collision

(Lakefield, Mn.)– Multiple injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision this (Tuesday) morning on Interstate 90 near Lakefield.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 59-year-old Steven Soldwisch of Harrisburg, South Dakota was driving a 1992 Oldsmobile eastbound when he crossed the median and traveled into the westbound lanes, colliding with a 2013 Kia driven by 72-year-old Priscilla Thoreson of Altura, Minnesota.

Soldwisch sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Worthington hospital. Thoreson and a passenger in her vehicle, 75-year-old Dennis Thoreson, were taken by ambulance to the Jackson Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Lakefield Ambulance and Jackson Ambulance assisted on the scene.

The collision took place a little after 9:00 am.
