(Sheldon)– No injuries were reported Wednesday in a fire at a Sheldon elevator.
Multiple departments responded to the scene at the Hull Co-op in Sheldon after a small fire broke out in a pellet cooler. Officials say the damage turned out to be minimal as the fire was contained to the cooler itself as well as a storage bin and ventilator.
A pay loader and auger system were used to remove the smoldering pellets.
The Sheldon Fire Department was on the scene nearly seven hours.
