(Lakefield, Mn.)– A California man was injured very early Sunday in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 90 near Lakefield.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 67-year-old Kurt Bartenwerfer of Ottawa, California was driving a 2007 Honda eastbound when a gust of wind caused him to lose control of the motorcycle, causing it to travel into the median.
Bartenwerfer sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the Worthington hospital.
The mishap took place around 12:15 am.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Lakefield ambulance and fire department assisted on the scene.
