(Dickens)– A motorcycle crash Tuesday evening near Dickens injured an Emmetsburg man.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 34-year-old Lucas Olson was driving a 2024 Honda north in the 4800 mile of 330th Avenue when he lost control of the motorcycle on the muddy road. It went into the ditch and flipped, coming to rest on its side. Olson was able to crawl to the road and called 911. He was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The motorcycle was totaled.
Authorities say the crash took place a little before 7:30 pm.
Dickens Fire and Rescue and the Spencer Hospital Ambulance assisted on the scene.
