Motorcycle Crash Injures Spencer Man

(Spencer)—A motorcycle crash Sunday in Clay county injured a Spencer man.

The Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Douglas Bredeson of Spencer was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson northbound on 280th Avenue when he lost control while entering the curve onto County Road B-24. Bredeson was ejected from the motorcycle as it went into the north ditch.

Bredeson was transported to Spencer Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

$6,000 in damage was estimated to the motorcycle.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Dickens Fire and Rescue and Spencer EMT’s.

The mishap took place around 2:00 p.m.
