(Sheldon)– Three men face charges in connection with an incident Wednesday night at a Sheldon motel.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called shortly after 11:00 p.m. to the Sheldon Motel after getting a report of a disturbance. Upon arriving officers discovered a room had been broken into by three men and that a door had been damaged.
An investigation resulted in the arrest of 21-year-old Mateo Carmelo-Gomez on a charge of public intoxication; 25-year-old Andres Carmelo-Gomez was charged with supplying alcohol to a person underage; and 19-year-old Lucas Ramos-Lucas was charged with possession of alcohol underage. All three are from Sheldon.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sheldon Police Department.
