Minor Injury Reported In I-90 Sideswipe Collision

(Worthington, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday on Interstate 90 west of Worthington.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 25-year-old Scott Rollefson of Clear Lake, Iowa was in the right-hand lane and missed his exit. Troopers say he was attempting to turn around in a median crossover and was sideswiped by a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Whitney Paplow of Dundee, Minnesota when he moved into the left lane.

Both vehicles were westbound.

Rollefson complained of a sore shoulder but wasn’t immediately taken to a hospital; no injuries were reported to paplow.

Severe damage was reported to a 1999 Ford Windstar driven by Rollefson with moderate damage to a 2001 Lexus driven by Paplow.

The collision took place shortly before 8:00 a.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
