(Bingham Lake, Mn.)– One person was taken to the hospital this (Mon.) morning when a vehicle collided with a safe that had fallen out of the back of another vehicle on Highway 60 near Bingham Lake.
Authorities say 20-year-old Mya Mickelson of Springfield, Minnesota, was driving a 2018 Jeep Compass which collided with the safe. Mickelson was taken to the Windom hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers say the safe fell out of the back of a 2017 GMC Sierra driven by 36-year-old Cynthia Knutson of Bingham Lake as she was turning onto the highway from a county road.
