(Emmetsburg)– Minor injuries were reported in a single-vehicle rollover in Palo Alto county.
The Sheriff’s Office says Carl Hartman of Mallard wsa driving a 2008 Ford Supercrew truck westbound in the 500 block of 475th Street when he left the road to the right. Deputies say Hartman then over-corrected, causing the truck to fishtail. It then left the road to the right and went into the north ditch where it rolled, coming to rest on the passenger side.
Minor injuries were reported to Hartman, who apparently didn’t seek immediate treatment. Extensive damage was reported to the truck.
Hartman was cited for failure to maintain control.
Deputies say the crash took place around 10:00 p.m. Monday but wasn’t discovered until shortly before 7:00 a.m. this (Tuesday) morning.
