(Graettinger)– Authorities in Palo Alto county have released details into a crash last week near Graettinger that resulted in minor injuries.
Deputies say they were notified a little before 7:30 pm Thursday of a single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of 480th Avenue and 280th Street. They say 20-year-old Jordan Humphrey of Leavenworth, Kansas, was driving a 2002 Ford Taurus northbound when he lost control of the vehicle on the snow and ice covered road. It slid through an intersection, caught some loose gravel, and flipped into the north ditch, coming to rest on its top.
An occupant in the vehicle was treated on the scene by paramedics with the Graettinger Ambulance Service and was released.
Humphrey was cited for failure to maintain control.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
