(Primghar)– Minor injuries were reported last week in a collision of two pickups in O’Brien county.
The Sheriff’s Office says it involved a 2008 Dodge Ram driven by Luke Jungers and a 1997 GMC Sierra driven by 19-year-old Jordan Rosenboom. Authorities say Rosenboom approached a stop sign on the Highway 60 off-ramp and couldn’t stop due to icy conditions. His pickup slid through the intersection and collided with the one driven by Jungers. The impact caused the pickup driven by Jungers to spin 180 degrees; Rosenboom’s was pushed into a ditch.
Rosenboom and Jungers sustained minor injuries but apparently didn’t seek immediate treatment.
$10,000 in damage was estimated to the pickup driven by Jungers; $3,000 in damage was estimated to the one driven by Rosenboom.
