(Spencer)– A Mallard woman sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Saturday on Highway 18 in Clay county.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old Kristen Hyatt of Mallard was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer eastbound when she lost control on the ice-covered road. The vehicle went into the south ditch and rolled once.
Hyatt sustained minor injuries but decline medical treatment.
$5,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The crash took place shortly before 3:00 p.m.
