Minor Injuries Reported In Clay County Collision

October 01, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported in a two vehicle collision Sunday in Clay county. The Sheriff’s Office says it took place around 2:00 pm at the intersection of 200th Avenue and 380th Street.

Deputies say upon arriving they found two vehicles in the ditch with heavy damage and no drivers on the scene. An investigation revealed Brandon Kruse of Royal was driving a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan and was at an intersection. Deputies say Kruse pulled into an intersection that was blinded due to standing corn and collided with a 1996 Jeep Cherokee driven by Shawn Doyle, also of Royal.

Kruse sustained minor injuries but apparently didn’t seek immediate treatment.
