(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported last week in a collision in Clay county.
Authorities say 68-year-old Douglas Seltz of Clare, Iowa was driving a 2013 Dodge Ram pulling a homemade trailer and 25-year-old Chris Pruitt of Spencer was driving a 2017 Ford Transit van when the two collided at the intersection of 310th Avenue and 430th Street.
Pruitt sustained minor injuries but apparently didn’t seek immediate treatment.
Seltz was cited for failure to yield.
The trailer pulled by the vehicle Seltz was driving was totaled; $4,000 in damage was estimated to the transit van driven by Pruitt.
