(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported Thursday in a car/moped collision on West 18th Street near the north gate to the Clay County Fair in Spencer.
Spencer police say 16-year-old Dalton Lorenzen of Spencer was driving a 2008 Yamaha moped when he swerved to avoid a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 43-year-old Nanci Rezabek of Spencer.
Lorenzen sustained some minor scrapes but wasn’t taken to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.
250-dollars in damage was estimated to the moped with no damage to the suburban.
The collision took place shortly before 8:00 a.m.
