Minnesota Woman Escapes Injury In Fiery Crash

(Sheldon)– No injuries were reported in a fiery crash near Sheldon Tuesday morning.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Ciera Marie O’Brien Keough of Prior Lake, Minnesota, was driving a 2021 Subaru Assent southbound on Highway 60, three miles south of Sheldon, when she struck a deer in the roadway. The Subaru came to rest in the median and caught fire.

The vehicle sustained approximately $25,000 in damage.

The crash took place around 7:30 am.
