(Sioux City)– A Milford man was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Sioux City to nine years in federal prison on a drug charge. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 46-year-old Justin Haubrich pled guilty in June of this year to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
Evidence showed that from May 2018 through January 2019 Haubrich was involved in a conspiracy that distributed at least 2500 grams of meth in northwest Iowa that came from sources in Denison and Council Bluffs. During a traffic stop in 2019 Haubrich was found to be in possession of a .45 caliber handgun and was known to keep and store firearms during his drug trafficking activities.
Haubrich is in the custody of a U.S. Marshal pending transport to a federal prison.
