Milford Man Pleads Guilty To Federal Meth Charge

November 22, 2014

(Sioux City)– A Milford man has pled guilty in federal court to a meth charge.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa says 32-year-old Terry Lee Lowry of Milford entered the plea Tuesday to a charge of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Lowry admitted being involved in a conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of meth in the Spencer area between 2010 through February, 2011.

Sentencing will be held once a pre-sentence report is prepared. He faces a mandatory minimum of five years’ imprisonment and a possible maximum sentence of 40 years’ imprisonment along with a five million dollar fine and four years up to life of supervised release following any imprisonment.

The case was investigated by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force, Division of Criminal Investigation, the Spencer and Milford Police Departments and the Clay and Dickinson County Sheriff’s Offices.
