(Milford)– A Milford man is in jail on multiple counts of dominion or control of a firearm by a felon, class “D” felonies. According to criminal complaints filed by the Milford Police Department, 58-year-old Daniel Gibson was arrested Wednesday on six counts of the charge after having been found to allegedly be in possession of several firearms and ammunition.
The complaints say Gibson has a previous conviction through the state of Texas and that he is under supervision locally through the state of Iowa probation office. Court documents state that Gibson had signed a “department of corrections interstate compact conditions of supervision form” stating that he cannot possess firearms.
Gibson is being held in the Dickinson county jail on a $30,000 bond.
