(Terril)– A Milford man faces charges for allegedly holding a knife to another man’s throat and cutting him.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the Refuge Bar in Terril around 11:30 p.m. after getting a report of a man who had been cut in the throat by another man.
58-year-old Loren Miller of Milford was detained by patrons in the bar until officers arrived.
Miller was arrested and charged with willful injury causing serious injury; going armed with intent; and public intoxication. He was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
The victim, who’s name wasn’t released, was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare where he was treated and released.
Deputies were assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Milford Police and Terril Rescue.
