(Milford)– A Spirit Lake man was arrested on multiple charges following a couple of incidents Tuesday in Milford.
An investigation resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Steven Wynhaff on charges of theft in the 2nd and 5th degrees; burglary in the 3rd degree; two counts of failure to maintain control; operating a non-registered vehicle; failure to provide proof of financial liability and driving while barred.
A criminal complaint filed by Milford police accuses Wynhaff of entering a woman’s residence in Milford without permission and that the woman had to forcefully remove him. It states that Wynhaff also laid down a 2006 Honda motorcycle after losing control of it. Wynhaff is also accused in the complaints of stealing a 2019 Grand Caravan from Arnold Motor Supply in Milford and driving it to the location where he laid the motorcycle down. The statement says the van then got stuck and Wynhaff was taken into custody. He’s being held in the Dickinson county jail.
