(Milford)– The Milford city council is paving the way for the possibility of more businesses locating to the city’s downtown area.
The city several years ago purchased a lot in the area of the former Smith’s Lumber property between 9th and 10th streets east of Highway 71. City Administrator Matt Skaret told the city council last week the lot has been divided into eight parcels, each being about 25 feet wide by 142 feet deep…(click here for comment from Skaret.)
The council decided to proceed with plans to extend a nearby water line to make it accessible to the parcels, which the city plans to sell.
