(Milford)-The Milford City Council on Monday approved an increase of six percent per year in sewer rates over the next four years. The first increase goes into effect July 1, 2024.
The Council took the action following a public hearing. City officials say the increase is needed to help fund ongoing maintenance projects and any future expansion of the sanitary sewer system. The say it is also needed to keep up with inflation.
