Meeting To Address Impacts Of Late Planting

(Estherville)– A meeting June 18th in Estherville will address the impacts of delayed planting in the region.

Paul Kassel, a Field Agronomist with Iowa State University Extension, will address how delayed planting affects crop variety, maturity and re-planting.

The meeting will also address questions about crop insurance and FSA policies.

Coffee and refreshments will be served beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the meeting to follow at 10:00 a.m. It will be held at the Emmet County Farm Bureau building located at 421 South 1st Avenue in Estherville.
