July 23, 2025

(Sheldon)– Health officials are confirming a case of measles in northwest Iowa.

On Tuesday, the state Department of Health and Human Services announced the case was linked to one adult person with no known link to other cases in the state.

The person has not traveled outside of the state recently, but potential exposure sites have been identified. Anyone who recently visited SuperHiTech or Kwik Star in Sheldon, or Casey’s General Store on Division Street in Hull, is being advised to take precautions.
