(Worthington, Mn.)– Comedian Mary Mack will kick off her Peace, Love and Cheese Curds Tour at Memorial Auditorium in Worthington on Saturday night. Mack says she’ll bring some special guests for the opening show…
“I decided to come back to southwest Minnesota. It’s been awhile. I’m doing the first two months of it around the Midwest and then I’ll start up again in the winter down south. But it’s a clean comedy show and I talk a lot about family stuff and I talk about my mom. I’m bringing two gals just for the kick-off, it’s a special show for the kick-off. They are both headliners and some how I tricked them into opening for me. I am really excited about that and they are fantastic.”
She adds that she’s in the process of recording a new album…
“Going to record it in November. I have it down, I want add one more bit to it. What’s hard for me, you know my ADHD and my cheese brain, I start asking people questions sometimes. I’m always interested in who’s in the audience. I just keep wanting to talk to everybody in the crowd until I get on track. That’s kind of important, right? To record an album we’re going to have to do an hour of jokes or you don’t have an album. So my goal is to stay on track.”
The Friends Of the Auditorium will present Mary Mack and Friends Saturday night starting at 7:00.
