(Sherburn, Mn.)– Voters in the Martin County West School District Tuesday approved one bond referendum and voted down another.
A $64.7 million bond to construct a new PreK-12 school building was approved with 966 voting in favor and 901 no. Unlike Iowa, bond referendums in Minnesota do not need a 60 percent approval for passage.
A second measure to build an auxiliary gym for an additional $2 million was voted down.
