Man Wanted On Warrants Out Of Several Counties Arrested In Ruthven

(Ruthven)– A Sheldon man wanted on warrants out of three northwest Iowa counties was arrested yesterday (Thurs.) in Ruthven.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old Larry Maxwell was wanted on class “B” felony theft warrants out of Cherokee county, parole violation warrants out of Clay county and misdemeanor theft warrants out of O’Brien county.

Maxwell was arrested after deputies pulled him over near the Ruthven school. He was taken into custody and was transported to the Palo Alto county jail. He was later transferred to the custody of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in its investigation by the Iowa Department of Corrections Probation Office.
