(Spencer)– A man wanted on a warrant for theft faces additional charges after being arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop in Clay county.
Authorities say 45-year-old William Hotz, Jr. of Peterson was wanted for theft in the 5th degree. During the stop, deputies determined Hotz was fraudulently using someone else’s license plates on the vehicle he was driving.
He was booked into jail on the warrant and was also charged with fraudulent use of registration, operating without registration and no insurance.
