(Estherville)—A man wanted by Emmet county authorities on warrants for drug charges has been taken into custody.
Authorities say 57-year-old Mark Harmdierks of Truman, Minnesota was arrested on the warrants charging him with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says the warrants stem from an investigation into illegal drug activity in which Harmdierks allegedly delivered controlled substance to a confidential informant in Emmet county on three different occasions.
Harmdierks was arrested last Sunday in Nobles county. He waived extradition to Iowa and appeared before a Magistrate in Emmet county.
Harmdierks is being held in the Emmet county jail on a $29,500 cash or surety bond.
