(West Bend)– A Bode man faces charges following a pursuit Sunday that went through portions of Palo Alto, Kossuth and Humboldt counties.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says it started shortly before 1:00 a.m. when deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation in West Bend. The driver instead took off, resulting in a pursuit that lasted some 20 minutes. Deputies were eventually able to get the driver to pull over just west of Bode.
21-year-old Bryce Jenson of Bode was arrested and booked into jail on charges of operating while intoxicated…first offense…a serious misdemeanor; and eluding law enforcement…a class “D” felony.
