(Graettinger)– A Graettinger man escaped injury in a single-vehicle rollover that took place around 12:05 a.m. Saturday.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Loren Thomsen of Graettinger was driving a 2000 Ford Taurus in the 2900 block of 460th Avenue when he apparently swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle went into the ditch sideways and hit the embankment. It then rolled once, coming to rest on its wheels.
Thomsen managed to get out of the vehicle uninjured. The car was totaled.
Thomsen was cited for failure to maintain control.
