(Okoboji)– An investigation continues after a man was found deceased back on July 3rd in the causeway area between Arnolds Park and Okoboji.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded around 1:40 am that morning after getting a report of a man who was found unresponsive on the sidewalk after an apparent bicycle accident. Live saving measures were performed and the victim, 40-year-old Neil Connolly of Okoboji, was transported by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare where he was later pronounced dead.
The Arnolds Park, Okoboji and Milford Police Departments assisted on the scene along with Arnolds Park-Okoboji Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance.
