Man Accused Of Illegally Hooking Up To City Water

November 22, 2014

(Webb)– A Webb man has been charged for allegedly stealing water.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old Clifford Miller was charged with theft in the fifth degree after he allegedly re-connected his house to city water after it had been disconnected by the city.

The Sheriff’s Office says it was alerted after a city worker discovered the water had been turned back on without the city’s consent.
