(George)– A George man faces charges for allegedly planting a camera in a peephole in a women’s restroom where he worked.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says 55-year-old John Elias of George was arrested December 27th on charges of invasion of privacy…a serious misdemeanor; theft in the third degree…an aggravated misdemanor; and preventing apprehension…also an aggravated misdemeanor.
Elias was booked into the Lyon county jail and was released after posting a two-thousand dollar bond.
Deputies used a camera to catch Elias, who they say allegedly stole the camera and destroyed it.
