Major Road Project In Milford Seeing Delays Due To Recent Rains

(Milford)– A major road project in Milford is seeing some delays due to all the wet weather. Mayor Steve Anderson says work on the re-construction of County Road A-34 is running behind schedule…

“Right now the sanitary sewer is about 60 percent in, I believe. The water is about 40 percent in and the storm sewer is about 30 percent in. They’ve been working a lot kind of in the H Avenue, east of that area, and now they’re going to start making their push towards Highway 71. Originally they were going to move out to 213th or out there by the white tanks on the west side of town, but it sounds like they’re going to kind of switch that schedule up and they’re just going to finish all the way up to the highway then turn around and finish that up as the last part of the project here.”

The project still has a completion date of late this fall.
