(Rock Rapids)– A traffic stop Tuesday in Lyon county sent a Spencer man to jail on drug charges.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle around 11:30 pm that night near the intersection of Highways 9 and 75 east of Rock Rapids. The deputy reported smelling narcotics coming from the vehicle.
A subsequent search resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Cody Mowery of Spencer. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of a controlled substance…cocaine; and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into jail on a $1,000 bond.
