(Spirit Lake)– An accounting firm has released its findings into the annual audit of Lakes Regional Healthcare.
According to the report, Lakes Regional Healthcare had total revenue of 24.1 million dollars for the year ended June 30th, 2008…a 6.3 increase from the prior year.
Total revenue included 24.7 million in net patient service revenue and 533-thousand dollars in other revenue. Non-operating revenue was 1.2 million dollars, which was comprised of 860-thousand dollars in investment income; 350-thousand in county tax revenue and 105-dollars in other income.
Expenses for the year totaled 23.7 million dollars…a 4.9 percent increase from the prior year. Of that, 9.6 million dollars was for salaries; 5.5 million for supplies and other expenses and 2.6 million was for purchased services and professional fees.
