(Estherville)– An investigation into a complaint of a loud party early Sunday in Estherville resulted in police making numerous arrests for underage drinking.
Estherville Police Chief Eric Milburn says officers were called to the 500 block of South 14th Street and the 400 block of South 13th Street. The suspects were moving between the back yards of the two houses.
Officers observed persons they knew were under 21 in possession of alcohol.
Brandon Tanner and David Tjepkes, both 21 and both from Estherville, were charged with keeping a disorderly a house. 17 others were charged with frequenting a disorderly house. They include 21-year-old Marian Novak of St. Charles, Mn., 21-year-old Bradley Cabrera of Barnum, Ia., 18-year-old Chelsea Simon of Estherville, 24-year-old Keaton Anderson of Okoboji, 19-year-old Mitchell Turbes of New Ulm, Mn., 21-year-old Brandon Price of Holyoke, Co., 21-year-old Jordan Huston of Wells, Mn., 20-year-old Davis Jacobsen of Avoca, Ia., 20-year-old Brittney Jacobson of Harrisburg, S.D., 21-year-old Michael Hansen of Kingsley, Ia., 18-year-old Raeanna Muller of Estherville, 19-year-old Emily Swalve of Estherville, 21-year-old Leah Flaharty of Emmetsburg, 20-year-old Courtney Pestka of Goodthunder, Mn., 18-year-old Kayla Bortvidt of Estherville, 21-year-old Brock Blocker of Bancroft, Ia., and 20-year-old Cameron Custer of Breda, Ia.
