(Des Moines)– Things are back to normal for lottery retailers in four northwest Iowa counties who’s terminals were knocked out of commission this past weekend and yesterday (Mon.) thanks to a communications problem.
Iowa Lottery officials say service to the terminals was restored early this (Tues.) morning.
The outage affected 48 retailers in Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola and Sioux counties.
Officials say a change in ownership of some cell phone towers over the weekend resulted in the outage.
