(Spencer)– The long time President of Spencer Hospital will be retiring at the end of this year. Bill Bumgarner has served in that capacity 14 years.
Hospital Board Chair Julie Christensen expressed appreciation for Bumgarner’s service and leadership. She adds an initial search committee has been formed which will be expanded as the recruitment and selection process moves forward. Christensen says the search will be conducted on a national basis.
Bumgarner’s retirement is effective this coming December 29th. In the meantime he says he’ll continue to work diligently on the various priorities and projects currently underway at Spencer Hospital.
