(Spencer)– A woman who heads a regional economic development consortium has been elected President of the Mid-America Development Council based out of Chicago.
Kathy Evert, President and CEO of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation, begins her term as the council’s President January 1st, 2011.
The Mid America Economic Development Council is comprised of economic development officials in 10 midwest states, including IOwa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.
Evert has been a member of the Mid America Economic Development Council for 15 years, serving most recently as its Vice President.
