(Arnolds Park)– A local woman has been appointed to a position on the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association.
Jackie Hein of Spirit Lake has been named the association’s Volunteers Manager for its northwest Iowa region.
Hein will be responsible for organizing activities of the association’s volunteer corps for all events, including the Thursday evening “Rock The Roof” concerts during the summer.
In addition to serving as a volunteer for the association the past several years, Hein has also helped out in the Rock ‘n Roll Music Museum by welcoming visitors and putting up displays. She also serves on the Museum Advisory Committee.
Hein’s appointment is effective immediately.
She is currently focusing her efforts on the upcoming Winter Games Rock The Roof Frostbite Fever 2011 Show, the Winter Follies Talent Show, Valentine RockInRed Ball and the new “Sham-Rock” event in March.
