(Milford)– The Northwest Iowa Chapter of Habitat for Humanity is looking for a partner family in Dickinson county for a build to be held this year. They’re hoping to select the family yet later this month, as groundbreaking can’t take place until that’s done.
The partner family will complete 350 hours of sweat equity and will repay a no-profit mortgage over about 20 years.
Applications are available online through the Habitat for Humanity website, www.habitat.org, at local libraries or by calling (712) 336-4700 or by mail at P.O. Box 754, Spirit Lake…51360.
Last year the local Habitat for Humanity chapter built and dedicated its most recent home in Everly. The organization has refurbished homes in Fostoria and built homes in Spencer, Milford and Lake Park. It alternates each year between Clay and Dickinson counties.
