(Sanborn)– An O’Brien county farmer has won $2,500 for the Sanborn Fire Department.
Jay Hofland of Sanborn has been selected as a winner in America’s Farmer’s Grow Communities program which gives farmers the opportunity to win $2,500 for their favorite non-profit organizations. The donations are through the Monsanto Fund.
The check will officially be presented to the Sanborn Fire Department at an event scheduled for 6:00 p.m. this Thursday, April 5th, at the Sanborn Fire Station.
