(Spirit Lake)– A local court reporter has earned some special recognition.
Stepahnie Early, a court reporter for the honorable Judge David Lester of Spirit Lake, recently passed the Registered Diplomat Reporter, or RDR examination administered through the National Court Reporters Association.
RDR is the highest level of certification available to court reporters. The program was developed to allow high-level, seasoned court reporters to distinguish themselves as members of the profession’s elite.
Only five other court reporters in Iowa currently hold the designation.
