(Ruthven)– A local care center is getting some special recognition. The Ruthven Community Care Center is being awarded one of two Governor’s Quality Care Awards to 2025.
The award recognizes health care facilities that demonstrate exceptional quality and care for residents. It’s presented annually by the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing. Nominations are open to all licensed healthcare facilities in Iowa, including those providing nursing care, assisted living and other long-term care services.
The award will be presented at 12 Noon Wednesday during a ceremony at the Ruthven Community Care Center.
